Do We Need to Keep Our Lungs?

All of the people in this world have lungs. But what are lungs? Need you know that lungs are part of human body that has function to respiration and everyone have two lungs measure between 10 to 12 inches long. So, imagine how if our lungs broken?

What will happen to us? Will we still alive?

The answer is no. Because Healthy lungs bring oxygen into the body and allow a person to easily breathe.

Remember! Someone will say alive if we can breathe. So think how important lungs for us! Diseased lungs not only hinder normal breathing, they also bring on a host of problems and conditions.

Then, how to distinguish healthy lungs with that pain?

Well, here you can note that average adults take 20,000 breaths a day, or 15 to 20 breaths a minute. So healthy lungs keep pace and keep up with every breath a person takes.

Whereas for bad lungs usually can not constrain breathing such as asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It can also bring on infections like influenza, pneumonia and tuberculosis (TB).

For other way you can prove by a chest X-ray, a CT scan and an MRI can detect an unhealthy lung because it can reveal suspicious area, nodules and irregularities in the lungs.

If you want to try it, don’t be surprised if you will know the difference between healthy and diseased lungs later. Which for healthy lungs are full and pink and diseased lungs appear shriveled, dark and wasted.

The problem is how to cope it all? Here are some steps you can try to have healthy lungs. Among others:

First, realize that our lungs work around the clock carrying oxygen to the blood and removing harmful toxic gases, so that we can live, work and play. What is amazing is that they do this 24/7, 365 days a year, for as long as we’re alive. That’s why don’t smoking and keep healthy life from now by eat healthy and be sure to get plenty of antioxidants in the diet. If you don’t eat as healthy as you should then vitamins A, C and E are the antioxidant vitamins of choice. Vitamin D is also known to increase lung function.

Second, protect healthy lungs every day from indoor toxic fumes and dust. So as we can do, we must go green indoors and use non-toxic products by control dust and dust mites with vacuuming often and keeping the house clean. In addition, keep the home well ventilated and humidity controlled.

Whereas for outdoors, you can go green with avoid the use of pesticides and chemicals on the grass. It’s also best to shut down vehicles and not allow them to idle. Additionally, don’t exercise outdoors on high ozone days and this goes for the kids too.

Third, lets healthy life with exercise. So, don’t lazy! Although you are not do every day and don’t have to do killer workouts either, but walking is one of the best exercises you can do for lung health. Any type of aerobic exercise will help build lung capacity such as swimming, cycling, running etc.

Fourth, lets we keep correct posture from now because correct posture is very important in our quest for healthy lungs. Sitting around all slumped over restricts lung function and decreases lung capacity. So, give your lungs some breathing room and straighten up.
